Does not guarantee enrollment or constitute a binding contract.
Does add your family to our prospective student database and begins the application review process as we move toward opening.

Family & Student Background Information
Washington Home-Based Instruction Acknowledgment
St. Luke's Academy intends to begin under Washington's Home-Based Instruction provisions (homeschooling framework). Under this model:
Parents/guardians file a Declaration of Intent to provide home-based instruction with their local school district.
Parents/guardians may then contract with St. Luke's Academy for full-time, 5-day-per-week instruction (approximately 6.5 hours per day).
Parents remain the legally responsible educators under state law, while St. Luke's Academy provides the day-to-day teaching and curriculum.
I understand that, in the school's initial phase, St. Luke's Academy will operate under Washington's Home-Based Instruction provisions. I understand that I will be responsible for filing the required Declaration of Intent with my local school district and that St. Luke's Academy will provide full-time instruction in support of my home-based education plan.
Technology & Media Pledges
Parent/Guardian Technology Pledge
As a parent/guardian, I agree to the following:
I will partner with St. Luke's Academy to promote wise, age-appropriate use of technology in our home and in my child's daily life.
I understand that the school may set limits on personal devices during the school day, and I will support these policies.
I will seek to monitor and guide my child's use of the Internet, social media, and gaming in a way that reflects Christian wisdom, modesty, and charity.
I understand that misuse of technology may require corrective action in partnership with the school, and I agree to work cooperatively with school leadership if such issues arise.
I will communicate promptly with the school if significant technology-related issues arise at home that may affect my child's life at school.
Student Technology Pledge

As a student applying to St. Luke's Academy, I agree to the following:
I will use technology at school only when and how my teachers direct me to use it.
I will not use technology to cheat, plagiarize, bully, or harm others, nor to access inappropriate or explicit content.
During school hours, I will follow all rules about where my phone or personal devices may be kept and when (or if) they may be used.
I will not record, photograph, or post images or videos of other students or staff without clear permission.
I will strive to be present and attentive in class, resisting the temptation to be distracted by devices or online content.
If I encounter harmful or concerning content involving St. Luke's Academy students or staff, I will tell a trusted adult.

As a student applying to St. Luke's Academy, I agree to the following:
I understand that St. Luke's Academy for the Arts and Sciences is a classical Christian school seeking to form students in Christian faith, character, and scholarship.
I understand that the school is not affiliated with any single denomination, but draws from Scripture, the early New Testament church, and the church fathers, and that instruction will be grounded in historic Christian orthodoxy.
I desire my child to be taught in this environment and will support the school's mission, policies, and expectations.
By submitting this application, I affirm that the information provided is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I understand that this application expresses my serious interest in St. Luke's Academy for the Arts and Sciences but does not guarantee admission or enrollment. I authorize St. Luke's Academy to contact me regarding the status of this application and future school developments.
