Our Philosophy of Education

At our core, we believe:

  1. Christ is Lord over all learning:    Education is not neutral. Every subject—math, literature, science, history—belongs to Jesus Christ. We teach every class in light of Scripture and the historic Christian faith.

  2. Education is formation, not just information: We are not merely preparing students for tests or college; we are helping to form wise, virtuous young men and women who love God and neighbor. Habits, character, and worship matter as much as grades.

  3. The classical tradition is a proven path to wisdom: By following the historic pattern of the Trivium—grammar, logic, and rhetoric—and by reading the great books of the Christian and Western tradition, students learn to:

o    Understand language and ideas deeply

    o    Think carefully and critically

o    Speak and write clearly, graciously, and persuasively

  4. Parents are primary; the school is a partner: God has given parents the primary responsibility for their children’s education. Our role is to come alongside families and local churches, offering a faithful, rigorous high school environment that supports what is taught at home and in worship.

  5. High expectations honor students: We believe young people rise to meet meaningful challenges. By setting clear, high standards for behavior, effort, and academic work—and by providing strong support—we call students to maturity.

Admission and continued enrollment require a genuine willingness to work hard and grow.
