UNIFORM POLICY

St. Luke's Academy Uniform Policy is founded in a desire to cultivate a professional culture that is neat, orderly, and honors God in our attire.

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday — Casual Uniform days
Wednesday & Friday — Dress Uniform days

Students may wear Dress Uniforms any day of the week, but Casual Uniforms may not be worn on Dress Uniform days.

Hair must be kept in a traditional boy’s haircut, above collar and neatly groomed.
No coloring or unnatural look of hair permitted. No distinctive lines or different lengths of hair.
No chains, earrings, body piercing jewelry or visible tattoos.
Watches are the only visible jewelry allowed; they cannot make noise, have smart technology, or be cumbersome to wear.
If watches become a distraction the teacher has the discretion to request it be removed.
Shirts must be tucked in.
Belt must be worn.

Hair must be natural colors and feminine.
Hair accessories must be fitting to the style of the uniform, which is modest and conservative.
Primary students: no makeup or artificial nails.
Nail polish is allowed as long as the colors are classy and fitting to the uniform.
Earrings are allowed and must be classy and fitting to the uniform; no body piercing jewelry.
Watches cannot make noise, have smart technology or be cumbersome to wear.
If hair accessories or jewelry become a distraction, the teacher has the discretion to request they be removed.
