UNIFORM POLICY

St. Luke's Academy Uniform Policy is founded in a desire to cultivate a professional culture that is neat, orderly, and honors God in our attire.
Monday, Tuesday & Thursday — Casual Uniform days
Wednesday & Friday — Dress Uniform days

Students may wear Dress Uniforms any day of the week, but Casual Uniforms may not be worn on Dress Uniform days.

Gentlemen

  • Hair must be kept in a traditional boy’s haircut, above collar and neatly groomed.
  • No coloring or unnatural look of hair permitted. No distinctive lines or different lengths of hair.
  • No chains, earrings, body piercing jewelry or visible tattoos.
  • Watches are the only visible jewelry allowed; they cannot make noise, have smart technology, or be cumbersome to wear.
  • If watches become a distraction the teacher has the discretion to request it be removed.
  • Shirts must be tucked in.
  • Belt must be worn.

Ladies

  • Hair must be natural colors and feminine.
  • Hair accessories must be fitting to the style of the uniform, which is modest and conservative.
  • Primary students: no makeup or artificial nails.
  • Nail polish is allowed as long as the colors are classy and fitting to the uniform.
  • Earrings are allowed and must be classy and fitting to the uniform; no body piercing jewelry.
  • Watches cannot make noise, have smart technology or be cumbersome to wear.
  • If hair accessories or jewelry become a distraction, the teacher has the discretion to request they be removed.
